So I hear there's a storm but I feel a greater storm brewing on the inside of me, the Spirit is working.. I might leave and never come back.

For the Kids

1 Corinthians 6:18-
Flee from Sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body but the sexual immoral person sins against his own body.

Post Script:
Our bodies are not really our bodies anyway, (1 Corinthians 6:19-20) our bodies are now his temple we were bought with a price. Therefore Let us glorify Him in our bodies so that we don't die having wasted all that we now have been blessed with.

Below lies:
A small inaccurate jest conjured up by
Kilab Ammons and Zac Sanford to combat this verse.

"Chuck Noris does not flee temptation
 Temptation flees Chuck Noris."

Post Post Script: the statement about Chuck Noris is false.
God's Word won. The combat was short.

Proverbs 27:6

The wounds of a friend are trustworthy
But an enemy multiplies kisses. HCSB

Faithful are the wounds of a friend
profuse are the kisses of an enemy. ESV

Three ways to look at it:

1. Where there is high trust there is high freedom -Shawn Ammons
Meaning, There are some environments (with true friends) that are safer to act a certain way that might not be socially acceptable.

2. The wounds... like hurtful things said, done or hinted, bearing one another's burdens; things that are clearly out of our hands.  And these are the things that are trust worthy and or Faithful?
Maybe it is because the person receiving the wound is a friend that it is faithful.

3. Correction- Wounds might be shots to the flesh from our friend who actually cares enough about us and wants sin and death to be destroyed from our life that they take the effort to confront and point out what is wrong (wounds) so that we can be free from the slavery that sin brings.
Kisses seem all positive and proverbial but they might be referred to here as exactly what it is saying:
The kisses of an enemy are profuse (many).  Whatever that means, could be a tie in of the deceit of the enemy or the things you don't desire. Or rather a comparison with the first phrase.

The verse doesn't say The kisses of a friend are trustworthy or faithful.
And the Wounds of an enemy are much.
Even though it might sound quite better in our minds.

Out of all this, My desire is to stir up desire to dig deeper, search harder, seek God and look at things in different ways to see if I am missing something or... everything and ultimately find God (Real Satisfaction)
Real non-restlessness. Real! At-annoyance-peace.
But o you can find.
There is a time where over analyzing is over-analyzing, and I/we need to take the Words of God for what they are.

Do you know what you believe?
Go find out...
The words of God are POWERFULL.

Improv-mint

Day 2 of January gauntlet.

Why do people get complacent?
Why is our country so lazy?
It doesn't matter, In this context.
The point Im stressing is the point they miss
I want a steadily increasing passion cycle to be initialed
Destroying all of me that has contemplated
The faintest idea or notion associated
or related to the relation
of me and belated belation
As a being as an apple falling from the tree
Cut from the vine, blind and trapped in slavery
This is not what I desire,
To strive in vain to tire.
I want a connection deeper than feelings and sharper than words
I want to hear and know that what I hear and know is what I need to know
more than emotions, more than hype
More than a peticular person on a peticular night
More than a soul has tasted more than the human mind knows
I may see in the dim mirror now
But then, I will see as I am known.

Today is as warmups before a big game or the note cards of legends inducted into the hall of fame. For today is preparation for the day we will see
See Our Love in the light
See our reason for eternity

Through winter's sleet
And desert's heat
The song bird bid ye go
Songs of vision like the sky
As falling stars like opportunities glow
But not one who you meet
Or passes by
Neither elements released upon your back defeat
Nor persuasion convince you or from your dead hand pry
The endless glory of our lover for I can't help but what I live for, die.

The elaborations on the points of the things that I learned during the Fasting LTE and mentioned last post

Fasting LTE

Friday evening the 2nd of the first 3 day fast I have ever done, I was subconsciously discouraged after wrestling with my mind on various heart and personal motivations.
I started reading through Colossians, I had an unexplainable quiet joy that led me to realize that when I eat food, I am not satisfied but when I read God's word, It refreshes and encourages even If I don't know why. I told myself before I went
into the session that even if I got nothing else from God during the LTE all weekend, I could hold on to the fact that God is the only satisfaction.

When I was trying to figure out how to connect with God, I was feeling condemned By all the sinfulness habits I needed to destroy and the Godly habits I needed to bring to life. I felt distant from God. I was getting a little frustrated because we were being encouraged during sessions to press in deeper and I was just wanting to know how I was supposed to press deeper. Saturday evening I fell to my knees in dry discouragement and announced to God that I was giving him everything. It was so hard for me to do. I knew somewhere deep within that nothing else will do, or be. I am praying that God will help me be continuously bringing it all to Him.
Thinking through it, reading the Bible, getting wise council and listening to a speaker at one of the sessions, through the Holy Spirit I was able to understood at a deeper level a glimpse of the value of the importance of being honest with God when I pray. Who am I trying to deceive or impress?
I later learned that there were 2 main reason's I was discouraged at first. One being, I focused everything I was doing about me and not God.
Two, Which ties in with the first is I was pitying myself. Similar to the start of ESOAL for me. If I want to hear from God I have to get my eyes off of everything and gaze upon His face.
Saturday after the 10 O'clock session I went off into the woods in the back 40 and found a place to read in the quiet of nature. I was so refreshed by the crisp cool air and the walk through the woods. Again, I find it hard to describe what refreshed me. I am unable to put my finger on what exactly it was or my tongue on how it did but spending time in God's creation, seeing deer, birds, squirrels, and insects and reading His word while talking to him did it.
The last thing I know I took away from the fasting LTE was that God refreshes, recharges, renews, and reveals by His Word and His nature in the most still and quiet situations not the busy loud ones so much. I am learning how to just quiet my heart before him, adore and listen.
